Company overview

A pioneer & industry leader in cloud-based transformative technologies for business supply chains through collaborative platforms. As a result of rapid expansion, they are looking to bring on board excellent IT Security Executive to support their team.

The new role

·         The key responsibility requires specialized knowledge and experience in supporting cloud services compliance efforts

·         Good knowledge and understanding in Cloud Infrastructure, AWS Services and its functions

·         Participate in cloud services regulatory compliance assessments and relevant control discussions with our Cloud service provider.

·         Assist and work closely with Information Security Manager to understand and deliver the cloud security services.

·         Good Knowledge and experience in logging and monitoring, backup and restore, access management, password management and other security controls

·         Prepare vulnerability framework and metrics to address the findings in AWS Services (e.g., Security Hub, Guardrails etc.)

·         Develop, implement, and monitor ongoing reporting mechanisms for Cloud security practices to support compliance and highlight areas of exposure.

·         Assist and conduct threat and risk analysis and analyze the business impact of new and existing systems and technologies to eliminate risk, performance, and capacity issues.

·         Evaluate Cloud information security solutions and processes to provide recommendations supporting security standards.

Requirements to succeed

·         Possess at least 3-5 years of working experience related to information security & cyber security practices particularly in Governance, Risk and Compliance and Cloud services

·         Added advantage in cyber security Incident Response experience in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

·         Good experience or knowledge in understating the Cloud security framework (AWS, GCP or AZURE)

·         Solid understanding of security concepts and tools (WAF, DLP, SIEM, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Access management and VPN

·         Good experience in techniques of cyber-attack, with incident response.

·         Good knowledge/experience in Information Security Compliance Assessments.
