Job description Quantity Surveyor:-
Prepare monthly progress claims to client / main contractor with evaluate actual on-site work done.
Measurement, taking off on-going project.
Cost monitoring by preparing cost comparison, monitor progress claim, monitor payment certificates, assist on material purchase and monitor variation orders.
Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with Client, Consultants, Construction Team & Sub-Contractors.
Able to meet tight deadline, work under pressure & work independently.
Any other duties assigned from time to time as requested by the Management.
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities for tender submission.
Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers and clients.
Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work
Purchasing:-
Coordinate with project and contract department for material order’s requirements.
Plan, organize, purchase materials (issuance of Purchase Order) requested by site personnel
Coordinate and monitor materials purchased to ensure timely delivery.
Present the comparison to director and get approval.
Proceed to issue order and follow-up the delivery.
Tally DO with Purchase Order and Invoice to supplier.
Prepare quotations and invoice to client.
Liaise with shipping agents to ensure the ETA time for equipment.
Prepare project file when there is an awarded project from a salesperson.
Ad hoc assignments by management when is necessary.
