Job Description
• Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management
reports.
• Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly accounts.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and statutory bodies.
• Manage cash flow and monitor company expenditure.
• Assist in the preparation of tax computation, SST submission, and statutory
filings.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems.
• Review and monitor staff claims and petty cash disbursements.
• Support project costing and ensure alignment with client budgets and internal
targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant
laws.
• Utilize the SQL Accounting System efficiently for financial data entry and
reporting.
• Assist the Finance Manager in ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA,
etc.)
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a fast-paced or
agency environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, tax, and SST.
• Proficient in SQL Accounting Software (mandatory).
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
