Company Overview

Our client is a MNC in Engineering field and they are looking for a Project Manager to be based in their office at George Town, Penang. The Project Manager is responsible for managing large complex NI/ MOD projects to ensure agreed timeline, total cost with quality through compliance established process and engaging customers. The project manager is responsible to lead the NI/MOD project team in Penang. The position contributes significantly to completing projects efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards, thereby improving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Job Description:

• Overall responsible for the NI / MOD projects including profit and loss.
• Achieving the target PPG of assigned NI / MOD projects.
• Enforcing Fulfillment+ or TREX process compliance throughout the project.
• Managing risks and identifying commercial opportunities during project execution.
• Adhering to the terms & conditions of the contract throughout the project.
• Building trusting relationships with customers.
• Ensuring overall compliance with the technical solution sold to the customer.
• Overall responsible for the handover to EI the units installed.
• Providing technical support to Sales representatives during the offer/tender phase.
• Collaborate with subcontractors.

Job Requirements: 

• Min Degree in Engineering field
• More than 8 years in lift and escalator or construction industry
• Technical or commercial background (preferably with knowledge of the construction industry).
• Proven Project Management experience.
• Customer orientation mindset.
• Financial knowledge.
• Leadership skills
• CAD knowledge preferred.
• Communication skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Fluency in Malay & English required. Additional language expertise is an advantage
