The new role

As a developer specializing in DevOps, you will be responsible for the design, implement, maintain and optimize CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery) pipeline based on complex software/application versioning to serve multiple clients. In addition to this project, you will execute operational activities such as deployment, monitoring, maintenance and incident management as well as create, implement, maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure architecture based on the application, system design. Be involved in the research and evaluation of alternative solutions and recommend implementations, working closely with team members to estimate timelines, define project plans, and delegate tasks.

Requirements to succeed

You should hold a degree or master’s in related field, with at least 2-3 years’ work experience acquired in CI/CD such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab. Skills for different infrastructure programming languages and scripting will be an added advantage. Expertise in software development cycles based on continuous deployment in the cloud (Continuous Integration, Deployment & Delivery). Oral and written communication skills are key, especially when dealing with clients and project team members.
