The new role

·         Analyze client requirements and create Cloud Solutions for them, install and configure cloud environments.

·         Assist and/or represent the company in the technical aspects of your cloud solutions by deploying automated scripts

·         Conduct a cloud environment analysis and testing.

·         To learn about innovative Cloud solutions and conduct research on them.

·         Work with the management team to design and provide IT turnkey solutions based on customer requirements, and then present the solution to the clients.

·         Identifying operational cost control techniques and estimating AWS consumption expenses

·         Communicates with a variety of audiences, both orally and in writing, including high-ranking government officials.

·         Create weekly activity reports, oral presentations, briefings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), SDLC papers and checklists, risk and issue logs, and needed artefacts.

Requirements

·         A diploma or degree in information technology or a related field is preferred.

·         Experienced AWS Cloud Administrator to work alongside web and application teams to support transition and operation

·         Experience in DevOps automation, containerisation and orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and CICD Tools

·         Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in Cloud Environment Setup, Configuration, and Deployment of applications

·         Agile development methods, application deployment, cloud infrastructure, web architecture design

·         A working knowledge of the software development life cycle is preferred.

·         Previous experience with government projects, processes, and procedures will be beneficial.
