Country Manager, Consulting | Professional Services | Kuala Lumpur Full Time

Company overview

This is a leading international consulting & investment services provider present in key cities across Asia as well as the West. Our client is seeking to bring on board a high calibre Manager to join them in this newly created and exciting role.

The new role

In this high visibility role, you will lead strategy projects, sharing your views on business issues, trends and anticipating the impact on the client’s business, with the aim of driving business improvement and operational excellence across the organization. This will encompass working across multiple functions with different stakeholders in identifying, developing and executing change initiatives that have a direct impact on the core strategy of the business. Focus will be on commercial excellence, project analysis, communication & facilitation of client engagements and operational efficiencies/value creation. Reporting to Singapore office, you will be leading the Malaysia office, with international exposure supporting multinational projects with both local & overseas clients. There will also be opportunities to travel for work in future.

Requirements to succeed

The successful candidate must be bachelor’s or master’s degree qualified with excellent academic achievement. Ideally, you should have a minimum of 4 years of direct experience in consulting or corporate strategy with strong track record of apprenticeship. You have managed programs that are multi-faceted, ideally in large scale and complex/matrixed organisations. Energetic, driven and with a strong sense of accountability and ownership, you engage with stakeholders very well. Resilient and committed, able to work independently.
