DevOps Engineer | Tech MNC (Banking Client) | KL Full Time

The new role

• Setting up & supporting end to end DevOps pipeline on premise or cloud, either working independently or in collaboration to team.
• Designing, building and implementing solutions for DevOps.
• Architecting overall, comprehensive, and efficient practices on CI/CD and Automation.
• Review deployment and operational environments, i.e., execute initiatives to reduce failure, troubleshoot issues across the entire infrastructure stack, expand monitoring capabilities, and manage technical operations.
• Brainstorm and conduct POC on new ideas as part of continuous improvement efforts to introduce technical best practices to the pipeline.
• Work independently or in collaboration to team in implementing the solutions.

Requirements to succeed

• 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in setting up end to end DevOps pipeline with tools like – JIRA, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Veracode/, Artifactory/Nexus, Aldon, Ansible.
• Must have a security-oriented mindset & approach for integrating security/compliance in a DevOps pipeline.
• Strong automation and scripting skills with Shell, Perl, Groovy, Python etc.
• Development experience with languages like NodeJS, Java will be preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• An attitude of ethically challenging the current solutions in a bid to set up new and advanced solutions.
