Senior Corporate Secretary | Advisory & Accounting Firm | KL Full Time

Company overview

• Our client is an established professional accounting services provider firm.
• In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board a secretarial professional to join their team in KL.

The new role

• To handle and ensure all secretarial functions such as change of directors, secretary, auditors and registered office, open of bank accounts, acceptance of bank facilities, change of bank signatories, AGM, and other common corporate secretarial request, draft and prepare resolutions in compliance with Companies Act, 2016.
• To ensure completion and lodgement of statutory forms, returns, and reports with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) within the stipulated deadlines.
• To ensure the statutory books, registers, and secretarial records are updated and kept safely.
• To liaise and deal with clients, Senior Management, external auditors, bankers, and lawyers.
• Familiar with and able to use MYCOID and MBRS system developed by SSM for filing purposes.

Requirements to succeed

• Ambitious person with excellent communication skills, committed to developing a career in the Company Secretarial field.
• Experience of 2 years in relevant field.
• Secretarial license holder will have a distinct advantage.
• Mandarin speaker is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, innovative thought process, a commercial outlook and be able to work effectively as part of a small, motivated team.
