This leading company is ideally positioned to help you realize your company’s full potential and keep one step ahead of today’s complex and rapidly changing regulatory landscape. As a result of business growth, they have expanded their finance team and are looking to hire Specialist/ Senior Specialist/ Team lead in Financial Accounting.
The new role
Review accounting reports and payments processing deliverable provided by specialists and senior specialists, to be responsible for their accuracy and timeliness. To be knowledgeable of BU/client requirements/instructions and to deliver high-quality deliverable. To monitor & update client’s cash flow/trust accounts inflow/outflow, ensure all outstanding bills are verified, preparation of payment/receipt vouchers, cheque etc. Manage the financial accounting closure process, as well as the monitoring and reporting systems for the customer. As needed, provide effective support to the payroll functional team, and ensure that all functions and team members are in sync. Within a reasonable period, acknowledge receipt of the client’s request/queries/correspondences. Management may assign ad hoc or other duties to be done. Prepare audit and tax schedules for year-end finalization. Senior specialist is required to conduct supervision and training to staff developing staff in attaining process competence.
Requirements to succeed
Must possess a Diploma, Degree or in the midst of pursuing professional studies in accounting / financial or its equivalent professional qualification ie. member of MIA/ACCA/CPA Australia. Past relevant experience in supporting cross functions and / or Singapore client is advantageous. Minimum 1 year for Specialist, 3 years for Senior Specialist or 6 – 8 years for Team Lead of relevant working experience. Pleasant, approachable and affirmative personality. Possess mid-degree management, precise communication, analytical and problem-fixing skills. Good command of each spoken and written English. Hard working and a collaborative team player and punctual.
