Performance Tester (All Levels)| Financial Institution| KL Part Time

Job Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility of Performance Engineering and Performance Testing Tasks
Creating performance test scripts based on identified scenarios and optimize performance runs to maximize test execution time
Troubleshooting issues during test script execution.
Ability to construct performance test scripts in java or other languages to create data load either by inserting/reading data directly to MQ or create data files for load in the event the same cannot be done through load runner
Co-ordinate with other teams to support monitoring and analysis of performance test runs
Development of Performance Test Plans, Status Reporting, Test Readiness Reviews and Post- Implementation Reviews as appropriate
Strong knowledge of Performance tools
In depth knowledge of different type of performance tests e.g. Reliability, Stress, Smoke etc.
Knowledge on scripting languages

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
At least 3 – 5 year(s) of working experience as a Quality Assurance tester with focus on Performance Testing (hands on experience script creation, execution and troubleshooting)
Experience in performing performance test for Banking industry is an added advantage.
Strong experience in using test tools like HP LoadRunner, HP SiteScope, HP Diagnostics, JMeter or Any Performance Testing Tools.
Strong programming background (C, Java, and VB scripts).
Experience in performing different type of performance testing including load test, stress test, volume test, and endurance test.
Experience doing performance testing on any applications or software.
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies best practices.
Experience with one or more coding language (Java/JavaScript/Perl) with some development background will be an advantage.
