Senior Tax Executive Full Time

Company Overview

A global well established MNC company which is a diversified investment company specializing in the infrastructure, hospitality and real estate sectors are looking for someone who has exposure in taxation to join their team! You will have the opportunity to be exposed to Australia taxation system, all necessary training and guidance will be provided.

Job Description:

• Preparation of Australia and Malaysia income tax returns and quarterly provisional tax packs (deferred tax).
• Conduct tax analysis of the allocated entities’ tax sensitive accounts for tax reporting purposes.
• Preparation of monthly / quarterly Australian business activity statements (GST).
• Preparation of annual fringe benefits tax returns for Australian entities.
• Attend to tax administrative matters including preparation of tax registration forms and managing the tax obligation trackers for allocated entities.
• Provide support / assist with ad-hoc analysis / forecasting / scenario building for financial planning.
• Keep abreast with tax developments.
• Support other ad-hoc assignment from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Professional Certificate in Tax / Accounting / Finance.
• Must have 3-4 years of experience.
• Strong foundation of Malaysia corporate tax is required.
• Experience in tax advisory and international taxation will be an added advantage.
• Need to be well spoken and written in English (Dealing with Australia team).
