Account Payable/Account Receivable Executive | MNC Engineering | Petaling Jaya Full Time

Company overview

Our client is an established MNC that is a strong player in the Engineering industry. In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board an Account Payable/Account Receivable professionals to join their team in Petaling Jaya.

The new role

        i.            Account Payable

Reporting to the AP Manager, you will be responsible for the daily Accounts Payable operations, ensure all requests are handled in compliance with financial policies. Perform Month End Close activities, support AP self-assessment, internal and external audits, assist any ad-hoc assignments as required. Perform KPI analysis as well as prepare reports & presentation for management and business partners.

       ii.            Account Receivable

Reporting to the Treasury Lead, you will be managing all AR activities including implementing the cash application, collection from customer, intercompany receivable billing/ backcharge and credit note issuance on timely manner for AR section. On the role, you are required to prepare bank reconciliation and review monthly Bank Reconciliation prepared by subordinate. You will provide support to the credit and collections and be exposed to ad-hoc and other Finance projects assigned from time to time.

Requirements to succeed

You are a Bachelor’s degree holder in Accountancy/ACCA or any equivalent accounting processional qualification. With a minimum of 1 years of working experience. You are a team player, strong analytical skills with good communication skills in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of SAP and Excel Macro is an added advantage. Ability to take challenges with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
