Company overview
We are partnering with a Conglomerate MNC who has significant presence in Asia and continuously expanding. As a result of business expansion, they are looking to bring onboard AP professionals to join their finance team amidst of transformation. Two roles will be available:
i. Senior AP Finance Analyst
ii. AP Finance Analyst
i. Senior AP Finance Analyst
The new role
Reporting to the AP Team Lead, you will be a key member of the AP team to processes invoices and respond to AP inquiries in an accurate and timely manner. You will resolve end users’ issues on processed workflow in and verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and transactions. Your job scope also includes investigating and resolving discrepancies, issues or queries related to the statement of accounts, invoices, and payments information from customers. You should also provide strong backup to AP team on the overall process including participating in discussion by suggesting process improvements to be carried out. Other duties such as back-up function, business process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc projects are also included. You will also participate in the process of month end activities which include closing, reconciliations, journal posting, and reporting.
Requirements to succeed
The successful candidate must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Partial Professional Qualification with around 4-6 years’ working experience in AP, ideally with shared services organization. Implementation & Integration experience will be added advantage. Strong knowledge in SAP experience is a must. It is critical that you are detail oriented with good interpersonal skills and communication skills. Good teamwork, self-motivated, proactive in communicating and fast learning will also be advantageous.
ii. AP Finance Analyst
The new role
Reporting to the AP Lead, you will be processing invoices and resolving processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances and verify vendors and inter-companies’ accounts. You should verify account transactions and charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analysing invoice/expense reports and recording entries. You will participate in discussion by suggesting process improvements to be carried out across the AP team. Other duties such as back-up function, business process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc projects will be included as well. You will be responsible for the process month end activities which include closing, reconciliations. You should also follow up on overdue workflows for the customers/operating countries.
Requirements to succeed
The successful candidate must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Partial Professional Qualification, with around 3-5 years’ working experience in AP, ideally with shared services organization. Good presentation skills, analytical, detail oriented and good interpersonal skills will be added advantage. Strong knowledge in SAP experience and OCR tool is a must. It is critical that you are detail oriented with good interpersonal skills and communication skills. Good teamwork, self-motivated, proactive in communicating and fast learning will also be advantageous.
