Accounts Receivable, Manager | Conglomerate | Petaling Jaya Full Time

This established company based in Petaling Jaya is a conglomerate group whose products are consumed daily by millions. Large portfolio, collaborative environment with good company benefits. As part of transformation, they are looking to hire a AR Manager to join their Finance team.

The new role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you are responsible to assign tasks to team members and manage day-to-day Account Receivables activities with the team. You will oversee monthly and annual closing of accounts and maintain billing systems, credit control, monitoring bad debts, maintaining client’s database and providing reports when requested by supervisors. Ensure that systems and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness. Liaise with lawyers on legal matters; letter of demand and proof of debt against defaulted account in order to protect the interest of the company.

Requirements to succeed

You are a Chartered Accountant holder with a minimum of 4-5 years of working experience with some managerial experience. Experience in credit control as well as ERP/SAP implementation will be an added advantage. Ideally, you should be adaptable, meticulous, committed and able to work independently as well as collaborate well with your team members.
