Corporate Finance Assistant Manager Full Time

Company overview

Our client is a well established company that is currently rapidly expanding. In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board an Corporate Finance Assistant Manager to join their team in PJ.

The new role

• Perform financial modelling and monitor projects Internal Rate of Returns and to provide update where necessary.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluation of company’s short and long-term sources of funds and funding requirement/capital structuring, including prioritization and distribution of financial resources.
• Liaise with company secretary for board resolutions and announcement.
• Liase principal advisor for any corporate exercise.
• Evaluate threshold for triggering of announcement/shareholders approval/board approval.
• Monitor limit of authority for agreements being signed by the right authorised person.
• Liase investment market research, internal auditor, reporting accountants, solicitor, financial experts and regulatory bodies.
• Liase with valuer for any valuation for merger and acquisition exercise.
• Liase and coordinate with marketing/investor relations on press release.
• Assist in incorporation of new company
• Assist in the preparation of market research, feasibility studies, calculation of returns, capital injection, and funding methods.
• Assist in the preparation of board presentation slides and evaluation proposals.
• Manage and prepare due diligence exercise/information memorandum/ prospectuses for fund raising exercises.
• Review and comment on agreements (ie JV, M&A and etc.) on the structure and commercial terms.
• Monitor and ensure compliance of relevant regulatory guidelines, policies and procedures, equity and debt holders covenants and reporting requirements.

Requirements to succeed

You are a Bachelor’s degree holder in Accountancy or any equivalent accounting processional qualification. You are a team player, strong analytical skills with good communication skills in both verbal and written English. Ability to take challenges with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
