The new role

As a software backend developer, you will play an integral role in the development, maintenance and improvement of all the data flows in the enterprise data lake built on AWS cloud platform. You will integrate new data sources by creating end to end data pipelines and perform thorough testing to support accuracy of data transformations and data consistency. Partner with various stakeholders to understand their data demand and in turn, design and develop scalable ETL packages from the business source systems, including development of ETL routines. All in all, lead innovation through exploration, benchmarking, and sharing best practices in big data framework and technologies.

Requirements to succeed

As for fresh graduates, the successful candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with demonstrated excellent academic record (CGPA of at least 3.5), or years of working experience in Data Engineering, Business Analytics or related fields. Excellent knowledge and proven professional experience with AWS, SAP, Salesforce data and analytics services are preferred. Proficiency in tools such as SQL and Python or PowerShell programming skills will be added advantages. Ideally, you should possess excellent communication skills, be a strong team player and able to work with a team from diverse background.
