Senior Engineer, Network Security | Global MNC | Petaling Jaya Full Time

The new role

Working closely with regional Global IT team, you will secure our corporate network by creating network visibility and access management through policy enforcement on devices and users. You are responsible for end-to-end responsible for the NAC solution in planning, building, and running one or more global network security services. Your role encompasses implementing new or updating existing policies, as well as analyzing and reacting to incidents. Actively drive the transition to Network Access Control and create a secure state-of-the art network, connecting users globally in a versatile and highly dynamic environment. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, solution design, implementation, and third-level operations & incident/problem management.

Requirements to succeed

To secure a placement, fresh graduates must hold a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with 3-5 years of experience in designing and managing enterprise-wide access networks. Network Access Control and strong knowledge in at least two of the following: 802.1X authentication, SD-WAN, LAN (Aruba or CISCO stack) are mandatory. A strong security mindset and understanding of network security best practices, standards and processes with an affinity for IT technologies are encouraged to apply. Ideally, you should deliver excellent stakeholder management & communication skills, be collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
