Senior Site Reliability Engineer | Telecommunication | Petaling Jaya Full Time

Company overview

Join an established MNC Telco company in their team based in Petaling Jaya. Due to ambitious growth plans, they are expanding their operations within the region and are looking to bring onboard professionals to support the IT team.

The new role

Your role as a Site Reliability Engineer encompasses the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement. You will be collaborating with the Developer teams to manage platform infrastructure and applications. You will be responsible for designing and developing monitoring tools to provide performance dashboards, alerts and collect data required to proactively identify issues as well as recommend improvements. Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.

Requirements to succeed

You must hold a degree in IT or Computer Science with at least 2 years of relevant experience in DevOps or infrastructure. Technical competency using Python and in-depth knowledge of AWS will have a distinct advantage. Familiar with deployment automation/configuration management tools is also preferred. You should deliver excellent communication skills, be collaborative and able to work in an agile and multicultural environment.
