Application Developer Full Time

We are partnering with a leading global semiconductor manufacturing company located in Sarawak. Known for its expertise in producing a diverse range of semiconductor products, this MNC has a substantial international footprint and is at the forefront of semiconductor manufacturing.

The new role

• Responsible for the implementation of new functionalities or evolutions
• Responsible for the analysis and documentation of exiting code
• Responsible for the analysis of new request or specification of new functionality
• Responsible for the evaluation of development effort and delays
• Identify and evaluate changes’ impacts on the manufacturing equipment ecosystem.
• Responsible for the code quality in respect to developments best practices
• Responsible for the code management and documentation
• Responsible for functional and technical logs implementation
• Responsible for the identification of unit test and integration tests that should be applied.
• Ensure support & quick fix during release to production, tests and equipment qualification.

Requirements to succeed

At least possess at least Bachelor Professional Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent. With minimum 2 years experience in application development using Agile methodology . Deep understanding of technical C developments challenges and passion for technology and enjoy software development . Open-minded and willing to accept all kinds of challenges & assignment . Willing to standby 24×7 to support production line. Understanding of SQL Language, Linux CentOS, Java and C# will be an advantage .
