Finance Operations & General Ledger | Automotive | Selangor Full Time

Company overview

Our client is a leading Automotive Company with global sales network across both the region and globe. As a result of business growth, they have expanded their finance team and are looking to hire Finance Professionals to undertake daily responsibilities of accounting and finance.

The new roles:

i.      Finance Operations Executive (to be based in Penang)

Reporting to the Manager, part of your primary role is to ensure that accounting processes and journal entries are in accordance with relevant accounting principal and group policy as applicable. You will assist the management to monitor weekly insurance payment for monthly reporting analysis. Proper handling and maintain petty cash payment and reimbursement, exercising reasonable duty of care and responsibilities to ensure all payout is approved.

Requirements to succeed

The successful candidate should hold at least a diploma or equivalent in finance with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Exposure to ERP implementation and migration will be an added advantage. You should have strong communication skills, be adaptable to learning new technologies and enjoy working in a collaborative team.

ii. General Ledger Executive (to be based in Selangor)

As a General Ledger Executive, you will support the manager by coordinating daily workload as well as processing timely and accurately routine administrative accounting transactions. You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing all GL data posted in the SAP system on a timely basis and maintain any payment through petty cash transaction. You will assist any financial queries related to GL from internal departments, liaise with external vendors & operation on any issues.

Requirements to succeed

You are a Finance or Accounting graduate with 3-4 years of experience in relevant fields. Ideally, you should deliver effective communication as well as possess stakeholder’s management skills for this role. Competent technical hands-on knowledge in financial reporting is an added advantage.
