Company Overview

Our client is an established company in the direct selling and consumer marketing industry, working closely with a network of distributors and business partners across Malaysia. The company focuses on supporting distributor development through sales strategies, marketing initiatives, training, promotions, and business events.

As part of their growing team, the company is seeking an experienced Sales & Event Manager to drive revenue growth and support distributor development. The role involves working closely with distributors and internal stakeholders on strategic planning, sales campaigns, promotions, and local and regional events, while also tracking distributor performance and supporting their business growth.

Job Description
This role requires an experienced marketing manager to work closely with Malaysia’s group
of distributors to assist them with the following:

• Strategic planning with the core members of the group for both long term and short
  term targets
• Take ownership and accountability for revenue generation, working closely with
  distributors and internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategies,
  campaigns, promotions and events that drive sales growth and achieve revenue
  targets
• Be familiar with company’s system training and engage distributors to participate in
  these learning programs / activities;
• To plan local and regional online and offline events, working closely with relevant
  stakeholders to ensure successful execution and adherence to budget;
• To be able to conduct deep dive discussions on promotions and goal management
  which include generating, analysing and keeping track of distributors action plans;
• To be able to grasp and understand the company’s marketing plan thoroughly and
  support the distributors’ development by reviewing and tracking their progress on a
  consistent basis
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, leaders, customers, and
  business builders
• To support marketing campaigns, promotions, exhibitions, roadshows, social
  media activities, and product launches in line with company branding and policies

Requirements

• Degree in Sales & Marketing and or any related fields
• Good with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and also a team player
• Possess excellent communication skill and interpersonal skill
• Trilingual in English, Mandarin and Malay, both written and spoken (to liaise with
  mandarin speaking business associates)
• Outgoing and sociable
• Working experience of at least 5 years with exposure to direct selling industry is
  preferred
• Willingness to travel and work outstation as required to support network leaders
  and business activities.
