Warehouse Operations, Assistant Manager | Trading | Petaling Jaya (East & West Malaysia) Full Time

Company overview

We are partnering with a leading importer, distributor and wholesaler of agriculture materials equipped with its own warehouse facilities operating in both East and West Malaysia. As a result of business growth, they are currently seeking dynamic and suitably qualified candidates to join their subsidiary company in the establishment.

The new role

Your key responsibility is to plan and manage the storage of cargo as well as the production activities including compaction at all facilities in East and West Malaysia. You will be involved in coordinating with Logistic dept in the all out-going deliveries and with Shipping dept on receiving all in-coming cargo. You will also handle the selection & negotiations processes in the appointment of contractors. There may be ad-hoc task, project and assignment given by superiors from time to time.

Requirements to succeed

You must have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in warehouse operations preferably in the agriculture or plantation industry. You should possess at least a Diploma or equivalent. Technical experience in production is a plus. This role involves a lot of heavy travel hence you must be willing to commute around both in East and West Malaysia. Ideally, you should be dynamic, adaptable to be able to work independently and collaborate well with your team members.
